WHO WE ARE

AMY WERTZ is a Saulteaux-Cree-Scottish producer originally from Saskatchewan and is a member of the Cowessess First Nation.As an arts administrator, she has worked with Métis dance company V’ni Dansi and national dance presentation company New Dance Horizons.

Amy graduated with a Master’s degree in English Literature in 2007 having studied representations of the body as sacred space in the poetry of Métis poet, Gregory Scofield. During her time at university, she was coordinator of the First Nations University of Canada’s writing clinic, and she sat on various student committees.

Amy lives on the ancestral unceded traditional territories of the Kwikwetlem, Musqueam, Squamish, Stó:lō and Tsleil-Wauthth First Nations (Port Moody) with her son, daughter, husband and dog. She enjoys yoga, jogging and organizing her neighbourhood book club.

DYLAN WERTZ is a five-time award losing writer / producer / director, who has been working in the Canadian television industry for the past two decades. He cut his teeth writing for the #1 series Corner Gas (CTV) and wrote for several other scripted comedies in the early aughts.

In 2012 Dylan began working in unscripted television on documentary series such as Emergency Room: Life and Death at VGH (Knowledge Network), Yukon Gold (History), The Bachelor and Bachelorette Canada (City TV), and High Arctic Haulers (CBC). 

Over the last five years, he has worked as show-runner on the TV series Dr. Savannah: Wild Rose Vet (Cottage Life & APTN) PUSH (CBC) and Crip Trip (AMI / TVO).

Dylan is a Capricorn with a penchant for cookie dough ice cream and dill pickle chips. He lives in Vancouver with his lovely wife and two rotten kids.
